PACKING

I'm hoping I find my dream home, because I'm not sure about this whole packing thing. I have been married for 8 yrs. and this will be my first REAL move. My sister got married one day after me, and has moved 8 times. CRAZY!! Well two more days, and we will be officially homeless, moving in with my inlaws (BLESS them!), until we find something we love. Here's for a new ADVENTURE!!

We're Moving!!

Thanks to my fabulous REALTOR/HUSBAND, we were able to sell our house quickly!

We had our house on the market for one week and got a full price offer. We were SHOCKED, and felt so GRATEFUL at the same time. (No more keeping my house sparkling clean with three little kiddos running around! Whew!)

It's so BITTERSWEET...we are ready for a bigger house (5 people using one bathroom is getting a little squishy, my other bathroom is full of food storage. ) :) But we will miss our first home. Cody and I started here just the two of us 8 years ago, and we are walking away with three little ones.

We will miss our neighborhood, neighbors, and ward family!

I will miss my cute red door that we painted 2 yrs. ago. I always wanted a red door,  but I think a new color might be in store at my new house.

I will miss my dance room that my husband and step dad built for me. 6 yrs. of teaching will be over for now, and I will miss all the girls!!

I will miss our cute little garden...(not that you couldn't build a new one), but it was just so small and cute and perfect for our little family.

I will miss my kitchen only because we re-did it ourselves, and I think the things you work the hardest on, you will miss the most! (The before is below.) BTW don't ever have tile that color, it shows EVERYTHING!! This kitchen would look much cuter with wood floors....maybe next house.)

I wish I had a better pic of this huge tree in my backyard! This was a treat for my kids since most of the houses around here did not have big trees. Crew asked for a rope one yr. for Christmas, and Cody and I couldn't for the life of us figure out why he wanted it. We weren't going to get him a rope for Christmas! But on Christmas Eve we were at Walgreens, and Cody saw a rope, and said, "What the heck, let's just put it in his stocking," so we did, and Christmas morning he told us it was for his rope swing outside on the tree. Kids have the best ideas! So we hung it from the tree, and that began the love affair between child and tree. All the neighborhood kids would come over and climb that tree, swing on that tree, and it houses about 9 bird nests. (Hold for one moment as I am wiping tears. sniff, sniff.) Ok, so it is definitely bittersweet for us to move, but we are excited for our new adventure!

No, we don't have a house yet, but we are looking like crazy, and I know we will walk into one and say, "This is it, this is home!!"

So here we go, wish us LUCK!!

You must go!!

Go to the SNOW...even for a day, that's how I like it 2-3 days, then back to the SUN!!
We have plenty of it right now, you don't have to go too far!

Please love our 70's snowsuits. All one piece...zip up, and ready to go. They are the best with kids!

Snowball fights with my brother Jason!! Watch out, he will knock you out!

Sled rides...kind of.... in the bottom of a cooler pulled by dad!

He doesn't look like he is loving it, but he did NOT want to get out!

Ok, real sled rides!!

You might need to shield your eyes from the bright strip on my jump suit....it's a reflector, just in case I do a little sledding at night! Ha!

Thanks mom and Joe for the wonderful weekend. We had so much fun!!

SISTERS

Aren't sisters great?? My sister came to visit us for a whole week..... kidless. It was such a treat! We shopped, ate, saw Julie & Julia, hung out and visited with our girl cousins.

I'm so happy to have a sister, and am glad we got to spend a lot of time together! (Come again, soon!!)

Survive

I decided if something HAPPENED to me, this little guy could SURVIVE for a while.

He now scoots our kitchen chairs over to the counter climbs up, and eats my bananas I have in my fruit basket. Then, the other day I caught him up on the bathroom sink, leaning over and drinking out of the bathroom faucet. Food and Water. I think if something happened to me, he could probably survive 8 hours until daddy came home. Also.... yesterday he figured out how to climb or fall out of his crib. Any suggestions on what to do?? 18 months is a little too young to be without a crib. He seriously is a handful, but so darn CUTE!

The Bachelor

So I sat down to watch the Bachelor last night for no good reason at all, and decided that even though I knew most of the girls were younger then me, It came to my realization that they LOOKED a lot younger than me..... I feel 30 creeping up on me. (It's like when you feed the missionaries in your home, and you look at them and think...WOW I am old.) (Was it really that long ago when I was 20?? A whole decade!)
